Shrubs
Shrubs add so much to our gardens. They offer lengthy bloom times, varying sizes and textures, ornamental flowers and berries, and, usually, fall color. Ours are mostly sold in convenient and lightweight five-gallon containers which encourage numerous roots but inhibit circling roots. While many people want to plant large shrubs, the downside is the watering and maintenance involved. Our experience has been that smaller shrubs will catch up with and even surpass larger shrubs with reduced maintenance. All shrubs sold in 5-gallon containers unless otherwise noted.
