Grasses and Sedges
Grasses and sedges grow in a wide range of conditions, from very dry to standing in water. Some are highly-ornamental, others provide brilliant fall color, and many can be used for slope or shoreline stabilization. Deer generally ignore grasses and sedges. Please consider ordering at least 3 plants of any given species. They’ll look better in your garden and having 3 of a kind will help the animals, such as monarch butterflies, find the plants they need.
